I am in the process of developing training materials on how to install, configure and use WordPress.  I am currently moderating the Socrates theme support forum and many of the questions revolve around basic care and feeding of WordPress.  Until I have my material ready I want to help people by directing them to an existing course that I have located.  This will get them started for now.  You can take a look at this WordPress course by clicking on the link in this sentence.  I think it will answer many questions for those who are new to WordPress.
